The Elusive Samurai Getting an Anime Adaptation

Matsui, the creator of the critically regarded manga “Assassination Classroom,” returned to Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in January 2021 with his most recent work, “The Elusive Samurai.” This was the author’s big return after a five-year break following the completion of “Assassination Classroom,” a manga that earned international recognition and was converted into an anime nearly a decade ago (Jan 2015).
“The Elusive Samurai” tells the story of Tokiyuki Houjou, the son of a powerful samurai. Tokiyuki, on the other hand, is not your average warrior; he is weak, clumsy, and lacking in the talents and qualities that samurai are expected to have. Despite this, Tokiyuki aspires to be a great samurai like his father, and embarks on a trip to refine his skills and establish his worth.
