The Asia Pacific (APAC) Predator League 2024 came to an exciting close with Filipino teams Blacklist Rivalry and Team Secret emerging as the champions. The tournament, held on January 14 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, showcased some intense gaming action.
Blacklist Rivalry proved their expertise in Dota 2 by defeating their fellow Philippine team, Execration, with a clean 2-0 sweep in the grand finals. The team, consisting of Carlo, Abed, Raven, Gabbi, and Tims, displayed exceptional skills and teamwork throughout the competition.
One player who stood out from Blacklist Rivalry was Raven, who consistently delivered dominant performances. Despite the fact that Raven was under pressure recently, he managed to shut those doubts and was rightfully awarded the MVP (Most Valuable Player) for Dota 2 in the APAC PL 2024.
In the Valorant category, Team Secret emerged victorious by defeating Japan’s FAV Gaming 2-0 in the grand finals. The team, comprising JessieVash, NDG, Invy, Jremy, and Borkum, showcased their exceptional skills and strategic gameplay.
Jremy from Team Secret was recognized as the Intel MVP for his outstanding performance in the APAC PL2024 Valorant competition.
Both winning teams were rewarded with a well-deserved grand prize of USD 65,000 (approximately PHP 3.6 million), courtesy of Predator Gaming.
In addition to the thrilling gaming action, attendees of the APAC Predator League 2024 were treated to amazing performances by popular Filipino artists. Acer ambassadors Sarah Geronimo, also known as Sarah G, and the PPOP boy group SB19, consisting of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin, captivated the audience with their incredible talent.
