We’ve got some awesome news for you today. An anime is being made based on the I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World series. This announcement was made during the Fantasia Bunko Festival, and a teaser image was even shown. Let’s dive in and learn more about it!
The anime is based on an original light novel written by Miku and illustrated by Rein Kuwashima. The book is published by KADOKAWA in their Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint. And there are also manga adaptations of the story by Kazuomi Minatogawa. So, if you’re a fan of manga, you can check those out too!
The first season of the anime was released in August, and it was a big hit. The chief director for the show was Shin Itagaki, and the director was Shingo Tanabe. The main character, Kaori Hojo, was played by Akari Kito. Lexia from Arcelia was played by Kaori Maeda, and Yuya Tenjo was played by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka. It sounds like an amazing cast!
For English speaker/languages, Yen Press has got us covered as they have licensed both the light novel and manga in English. This means that we can enjoy the story without having trouble looking for translated copies.
The anime’s story is all about a young boy who has been bullied his whole life. But one day, something incredible happens. He gets a chance to enter another world, a world full of magic and amazing creatures. And the best part? He can bring back anything he wants when he returns to Earth. This is like a dream come true to our fellow otakus.
