Metallic Rouge Anime Gains Webtoon Adaptation

The LINE Manga app just announced that they will be launching a full-color webtoon adaptation of the popular television anime, Metallic Rouge, on March 7th. This is a special project by Studio Bones to celebrate their 25th anniversary. The anime premiered on Crunchyroll and Fuji TV’s +Ultra slot on January 10, 2024.

About the Webtoon

The artwork for the Metallic Rouge webtoon is done by Meika Tokyo. Whumor and Chita Tsurushima are in charge of its “name” and production, respectively. The original creators of the anime, Bones and Yutaka Izubuchi, are also involved as the series composer and chief supervisor.

The Cast and Staff

Now, let’s talk about the amazing cast and staff of the Metallic Rouge anime. Yume Miyamoto, known for her role in Xia Minsheng The Misfit of Demon King Academy Season 2, stars as Rouge Redmaster, the android girl in the series. Tomoyo Kurosawa plays her partner, Naomi Orthmann. There are also many other talented actors involved in the show.

The animation at BONES is directed by Motonobu Hori, and the chief director and writer for the series scripts is Yutaka Izubuchi. Toshizo Nemoto, known for his work on Macross Delta, is writing the screenplays. The character designs are created by Toshihiro Kawamoto, and the soundtrack is composed by Yuma Yamaguchi, Towa Tei, and Taisei Iwasaki.
