As I was browsing the web the other day, I came across a quite subtle topic about Shota Aizawa (Eraserhead) erasing Toru Hagakure’s quirk at My Hero Academia. Is it even possible? Check out the my opinion below.
First and foremost, erasing Invisible Girl’s quirk might excite the inner Mineta sleeping inside of you but I assure you that those are taboo!
In my opinion, Mr. Aizawa WILL NOT BE ABLE to erase Toru’s quirk at all on My Hero Academia. Not because of some rules or regulations but because of the fact that Mr. Aizawa (Eraserhead) will not be able to pinpoint his target. – (Assuming that Invisible Girl will remove both her gloves and shoes for that matter).
1. Mr. Aizawa have to pinpoint his target
As we all know and I believed it was discussed during the airing of the series, Mr. Aizawa’s quirk could only erase/disable someone else’s quirk given that he will have to concentrate on his target. Okay, let that sink in for a moment…
So how will you be able to concentrate on something you can’t see? Without anything that you could lock your eyes on, you could never actually concentrate on looking at something.
2. Toru Hagakure (Invsible Girl) costume
I think this could be easily grasped after the introduction of Mirio Togata and his costume. If you’ve been reading the manga, Mirio’s costume is made purely out of his hair. Should the same concept was applied to Toru’s hero outfit, Aizawa sensei will never be able to pinpoint her whereabouts rendering his quirk useless.

Given the two scenarios above, surely Mr. Aizawa will never be able to erase/disable Toru’s quirk. Do note that he WILL NOT BE ABLE to do so. However, given specific conditions Aizawa sensei could definitely erase Toru’s quirk.
