Demon Slayer Hashira Training
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba returns for the eagerly awaited “Hashira Training” film, which marks the beginning of its special world tour. Unsurprisingly, the film debuted in Japan on February 2 and grossed more than $1 million on its first day of distribution!
The third feature-length installment in the Demon Slayer anime franchise. It consists of footage from the one-hour premiere episode of the “Hashira Training Arc,” which will broadcast in the spring of this year, and the final episode of the third season.
As part of its worldwide tour, the Hashira Training film debuted in Japan and subsequently dominated the box office across the nation. A day after receiving close to 70,000 submissions, the film debuted at number one, grossing approximately $1.3 million.
Despite failing to surpass the opening-day gross of $9.3 million achieved by its antecedent, “Demon Slayer: Mugen Train,” this performance remains commendable given the formidable competition posed by the release of Mobile Suit Gundam’s latest film.
North American audiences will not have to wait long to view the film Hashira Training. Beginning on February 23, Aniplex of America, Crunchyroll, and Sony Pictures Entertainment will distribute the film in theaters, including IMAX and premium large formats. Already available for purchase are tickets!
Beginning on February 21, admirers in regions other than North America and Japan will also be granted an advance look at the forthcoming Hashira Training Arc. The film is scheduled for global theatrical release, with country-specific release dates listed on the official website of the anime series.
