Sony Announces Stellar Blade: A New Action RPG for PlayStation 5

Stellar Blade is an exciting action role-playing game developed by SHIFT UP and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It is set to launch exclusively for PlayStation 5 on April 26, with pre-orders starting on February 7.

The Story of Eve’s Journey

The game revolves around the story of Eve, a brave warrior who comes to Earth from a distant colony to defeat the Naytibas, a mysterious enemy that suddenly appeared. The Naytibas seem to be controlled by a powerful force led by an Elder and an Alpha. Eve wakes up in a devastated world and meets Lily, a former airborne squad member, and Adam, a survivor left behind on Earth. Together, they join forces to fight the Naytibas and help the remaining residents of Xion, the last human city.

The World of Stellar Blade

Stellar Blade takes place in two vast regions called the Wasteland and the Great Desert, which are connected to Xion. These areas are filled with secrets and mysteries. As you embark on your adventures, you’ll meet various characters and uncover the truth behind the Naytibas. One of your objectives is to collect Hyper Cells, a powerful energy source that keeps Xion alive. By finding and using these cells, Eve can restore the city to its former glory. Along the way, you’ll also discover items like Exospines and Gears, as well as earn SP EXP to unlock powerful abilities. Don’t forget to customize your character with different outfits, accessories, and hairstyles!

Stellar Blade offers a wide range of music to enhance your gaming experience. From soothing camp tunes to melancholic melodies that capture the atmosphere of a destroyed city, the game’s soundtrack will transport you to its unique universe. In the United States, the pre-order window opens at 7:00 a.m. PT and 10:00 a.m. ET. The Standard Edition of Stellar Blade will be priced at $69.99 (PHP 3,916), while the Digital Deluxe Edition will cost $79.99 (PHP 4,476).
