The Stardew Valley 1.6 update is coming soon, and PC players will be the first to get their hands on it. Developer ConcernedApe announced that the update will be available on PC starting March 19, 2024.
The announcement was made on X (formerly known as Twitter) on February 26, in honor of Stardew Valley’s 8th anniversary. It’s amazing to see how far this cozy simulation game has come over the years.
So, what can we expect from the 1.6 update? Well, get ready for a big chest that can store more items, three new annual festivals, new items, crafting recipes, additional dialogue, eight-person multiplayer support on PC, and updates to benefit Stardew Valley mods. It’s going to be epic!
Originally planned as a small update, 1.6 has grown into something more meaningful for ConcernedApe. This game is their life’s work, and they are dedicated to providing ongoing support and updates thanks to the amazing players who love Stardew Valley.
Stardew Valley has become a beloved feel-good farming game that players enjoy after a long day. Whether you’re playing on the Nintendo Switch or PC, this game has a special place in our hearts. We can’t wait for the 1.6 update to drop!
