The game’s logo, with the letters “Z-A,” is inspired by the colors of the legendary Pokemon Zygarde from the sixth generation.

Pokemon X and Y were launched for the Nintendo 3DS in October 2013 worldwide. These games are unique as they did not receive a third version or direct sequel on the latest Nintendo consoles.
