The catalog of Xbox Game Pass has grown once again with the addition of Capcom’s classic survival horror game, Resident Evil 3 remake. This game is now part of Microsoft’s subscription service for the February 2024 lineup. It is the third AAA game to join Xbox Game Pass this month, allowing players with an active membership to download Resident Evil 3 for free.

Originally released in April 2020, the remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis received positive reviews despite not reaching the same level of success as its 1999 predecessor. Critics praised the game’s graphics and updated controls. Players take on the role of Jill Valentine as she tries to escape the zombie-infested Racoon City and face off against the iconic gaming villain, Nemesis.

Resident Evil 3 is now accessible on Xbox Game Pass for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Ultimate-tier members can also utilize Xbox Cloud Gaming support as part of their package.
