During the Pokemon Presents stream on Tuesday, The Pokemon Company International revealed the upcoming game for the Nintendo Switch called Pokemon Legends Z-A, set to be released in 2025.

Lumoise City Urban Development Plan

The video showcased an urban development plan for Lumoise City, emphasizing the harmonious relationship between people and Pokemon. This city is situated in the Kalos region, originally featured in the Pokemon X/Y games for the Nintendo 3DS. The game’s logo, with the letters “Z-A,” is inspired by the colors of the legendary Pokemon Zygarde from the sixth generation.

Pokemon X and Y Release

Pokemon X and Y were launched for the Nintendo 3DS in October 2013 worldwide. These games are unique as they did not receive a third version or direct sequel on the latest Nintendo consoles. Fans have been eagerly anticipating a direct sequel to these games, and they are hopeful that Z-A will fulfill their wishes.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus Overview

Pokemon Legends: Arceus was released in January 2022 for the Nintendo Switch. This game transports players to the Hisui region, a prehistoric version of the Sinnoh region from Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. Players can ride Pokemon, craft items, and face Pokemon attacks while exploring the wild. This installment also introduces photography and trainer customization features.

The Pokemon video game series began with the launch of Pokemon Red and Green for the Nintendo Game Boy in 1996, followed by Pokemon Blue in the same year. Since then, the franchise has expanded with numerous sequels and games.
