In the realm of DOTA 2, the leading force in the SEA region, Talon Esports, has opted to part ways. Their journey in The International 2023 was nothing short of remarkable, securing a spot in the Upper Bracket but ultimately falling shy of the mark, concluding their run in the prestigious top 11. This makes the current decision of the team, a little bit confusing for the audience.
Recently, Talon Esports took to their official Twitter page to reveal the decision to disband their formidable team. Each player has expressed their intention to chart individual paths.
Talon Esports Disbands as announced on Twitter
“After discussions with the team, we have come to a mutual agreement to part ways in order to explore other opportunities”
As of now, the future destinations of these exceptionally skilled players remain uncertain. Will they integrate with new teams, or perhaps take a well-deserved hiatus from the competitive arena? The possibilities are wide open. As for Talon Esports, the question lingers: will they return with a fresh roster for the upcoming Dota 2 season, or will they opt for a hiatus of their own? The next chapter remains to be written.

It is no surprise that an update is on its way to the beloved indie game, Stardew Valley. However, on May 31, 2023, ConcernedApe, the solo developer of the popular farming simulator Stardew Valley, tweeted a single word: “iridium scythe.” This simple tweet sent shockwaves through the Stardew Valley community, as it was the first time that ConcernedApe had ever hinted at the possibility of an Iridium Scythe being added to the game.
The scythe is the only left on the its golden state hence the tweet of the iridium scythe makes the expectations that it would be a more powerful version of the Golden Scythe. The Golden Scythe is currently the most powerful scythe in the game, and it can be used to quickly clear large areas of grass or crops. Normally by hierarchy, the Iridium Scythe would likely be even more powerful, and it could potentially make it easier for players to harvest their crops and clear their farms.
The addition of an Iridium Scythe would be a significant change to Stardew Valley, and it could have a major impact on the way that players play the game. Currently, the most efficient way to harvest crops is to use the Golden Scythe and then use the hoe to clear any remaining grass. An Iridium Scythe would make it possible to harvest crops and clear grass much more quickly, which could free up players’ time to do other things, such as fishing, mining, or socializing.
The addition of an Iridium Scythe would also make it easier for players to complete certain quests and challenges. For example, there might be an incoming special order quest where players must harvest 1000 pieces of grass or anything scythe harvestable related crop. This would probably be very time-consuming, but it would expected to become much easier to complete if players had an Iridium Scythe. (Special Orders could be unlocked by Fall 2 of Year 1)
Of course, there are also some potential downsides to the addition of an Iridium Scythe. One concern is that it could make the game too easy. Currently, there is a certain amount of challenge involved in harvesting crops and clearing grass. If players have an Iridium Scythe, it could make the game too easy, and it could reduce the amount of time that players spend playing the game.
Another concern is that the addition of an Iridium Scythe could make the Golden Scythe obsolete. Currently, the Golden Scythe is the most powerful scythe in the game, and it is a valuable tool for players. If an Iridium Scythe is added, it could make the Golden Scythe less useful, and it could reduce the demand for the Golden Scythe. But hey, the scythe lost its purpose at the same time. So this one felt more like for collectibles.
Only time will tell if ConcernedApe decides to add an Iridium Scythe to Stardew Valley. However, the tweet from ConcernedApe has certainly got the Stardew Valley community talking, and it will be interesting to see if the Iridium Scythe ever becomes a reality.
Ever dreamt of having a wedding video out of the ordinary? Look no further as a video editor in Parañaque City makes the trend in social media for an anime themed wedding video to the tune of KANA-BOON’s Silhouette.
Yung adik ka sa anime tapos wedding video editor ka (When you’re an anime addict and a wedding video editor at the same time)
Shared on a Facebook post last February 2, 2021 by video creator Kris Gids. The trending video have already garnered 76k+ reactions, 14k+ comments, 74k+ shares and standing on a million+ views as of this writing!
On a post shared by Philippine Star, the video editor created the anime themed wedding video by using a compilation of resources from their clients.
Kris Gids who we are assuming that’s also a fan of Anime made the video to give otakus an inspiration to break free from traditional wedding videos.
As the creator mentioned on his interview with the news media outlet, the astounding video was accomplished within 11 hours and is still making the trend.
I still think that when it comes to weddings, the traditional approach is still more suited for videos. But we may never know, anime music still have a lot in store especially for the closing sound tracks. Don’t get me wrong. What the creator did is great! Hands down. But I would still wait for an anime themed wedding video using a more solemn and heartfelt anime music.

NOTE: Thanks to Simon Nemeth for contacting Alan and letting us know that this project may still proceed as confirmed by Mr. Woolley himself! Please note his words below.
I still intend to work on it and it’s not abandoned yet… There’s a lot of work that would need putting in to the app to get it to the point of being able to release a new update, and frankly I’m not sure where I’ll be able to find that time from. Hopefully I’ll be able to pick it up again this year.
With regards to it being removed from Google Play,
Google changed their terms and policies for publishers and I haven’t had time to amend the app to comply. It will be reinstated once I have.
Despite the fact that we’re all waiting for this game’s revival on mobile, let’s take the time and appreciate the efforts done not only by Mr. Woolley, Simon and the rest of the Armed Pineapple for bringing us CorsixTH.

Hi folks, let’s discuss something that was a bit nostalgic for the mean time. Let’s tackle the probability of playing Theme Hospital on an Android Platform. This is where CorsixTH comes into action. But first, let me walk you through Theme Hospital.
Theme Hospital is a business simulation game that injects the game with comedy. Its initial release was on 1997 under Bullfrog Productions and Krisalis Software. It runs on a series of platforms as well such as Microsoft Windows, Playstation and even on Playstation 3!
CorsixTH removed from Google Play! Yes, the actual application was removed from Google Play and the reason is still unclear. But what is CorsixTH by the way? CorsixTH is a clone of Theme Hospital with the intention to run on modern hardware and to implement possible development for the betterment of the game.
Currently, I’m trying to reach the Android Developer of CorsixTH but the search is still ongoing. However, upon reaching the CorsixTH fan page, they’ve been kind enough to let me know that the head developer of CorsixTH for Android, Mr. Alan Woolley has not been in contact with them for some time now.
The Android version is an independent project not managed by us. Alan has not been in contact with us for some time and his last CorsixTH for android update was 2 years ago. — CorsixTH Fan Page
It is possible that the app was removed due to it being outdated but at the same time, the last time I’ve read about the app is that it is on Beta stage.
As for my opinion, the app might have been left at Beta which is why Google Play has decided to remove it from the list of apps. The idea that Mr. Woolley himself removed the app on Play Store still remains though.
To get a hold of the old version of the app, please refer to this link given by the CorsixTH fan page.
For more updates regarding CorsixTH for Android, please stay tuned! I’ll definitely try to get a statement from Mr. Woolley himself regarding the removal of the app.
