One Punch Man Season 2. Season 2 starts on April 2019

One Punch Man Season 2 Promotional. Season 2 starts on April 2019 but exact date is yet to be determined.

One Punch Man was first aired on December 2015. Whilst there were yearly announcements of the probable sequel, this is the solid proof that the animation will indeed continue.

Artist Turns MHA Characters to Adorable Sea Creatures

Last week, August 24, a My Hero Academia post was shared on the Chinese microblogging site “Weibo”. On the said post, 8 My Hero Academia characters were transformed into mermaid like forms of sea creatures!

With the caption, “It was originally the result of making a picture of the little heroes of my sister. The painting of the mermaid could not stop.” we can’t help but adore this lovely creations!


I honestly think All Might as the Blue Whale suits him perfectly!

Now, Todoroki as a Dolphin? I think I got half a heart for this one.

Ochako as a Jelly fish! Lovely!

Guess the speed was incorporated here. Thumbsup!

Kirishima as a grouper. Could not ask for a better representation.

Kacchan as a Puffer fish! Deadly and looks like an explosive when bloated! Perfect! Now, Deku as an Anemonefish. I was not good at biology or aquamarine so I can’t seem to see the relation on this. Midoriya is indeed the shy type protagonist but it seems a lot of detail was missing.

Lastly, for Aizawa sensei as an Eel! All I have to say is, what a nice sleeping bag! Lol.

We’re looking for other images that looks somewhat the same but ended with nothing just yet. However, if the user Silent Ren made a continuation of this series, we’ll gladly take a look! Kudos!

The Garden of Words – Review

For our review today, let’s tackle about a movie that made a seeming crossover from the popular animated film, Kimi No Na Wa. Also known by its English title “Your Name”.

If you still didn’t knew, The Garden of Words and Kimi No Na Wa are made by the same director, Makoto Shinkai. In line to that, according to a wikia content, the director included the main character of The Garden of Words so he could meet with its voice actress. While the link to its reference already returns a “Page could not be loaded” view, it still remains that there was a great resemblance if it was not the same character.

So for the details of this review, let’s start off with a typical entrance. The whole film only lasts for roughly an hour. There was not much converstaion but the attention to detail regarding the animation was splendid. I’m not sure though if I’m just easily moved but I think it was definitely great. Each droplet of the rain, the scenery it creates and the feel it was supposed to make you feel went all down to great detail. It displays the great beauty you could find on Japan itself as the main area it displayed was based on a real location which could be found in Shinjuku Gyoen National Park.

The story line seems pretty straightforward if you ask me but it still deals a great impact to the viewer. I honestly think that it was named the Garden of Words due to its beautiful poetry.

It seems that there isn’t much to talk about regarding the film and it seems pretty ironic if you ask me. I mean, it was named “The Garden of Words” but I couldn’t write that much about it. One thing I can at least assure is the fact that I was definitely moved. It was wonderfully and beautifully made.

Kuroko no Basket – First Impression

In the midst of the recent heart-stopping NBA playoffs, let’s tackle an anime that clearly falls in line with the same category.

Kuroko No Basket is a basketball themed anime that has some twists when it comes to techniques. Unlike the famous series from the 90’s – Slam Dunk, this anime adds special techniques which became somewhat popular to sports themed anime during the 2K era.

Given the animation that is pretty neat in itself, the story line is somewhat impressive too. The story revolves on how a “Dream Team” part ways and ends up battling themselves to the top. Or at least that’s how I think the story will continue. Just like from its senior, Slam Dunk, basketball’s goal is to be the best playing team out there.

Since w’ere tackling the minor difference it have from its senior, of course these special techniques were fictional. But despite being too good to be true as to how it was described, these techniques were not at all impossible to accomplish. I believe there were anime – real life comparison circulating on social media some time around that may prove this statement.

A very odd thing about this series is that they are too much of a “Dream Team”. They never miss, they pass with 110{ef8f7c64cf5d82c784f3e58e10df219bf850592878025d3f3a5afe8459a6cc97} accuracy and the feat displayed was definitely beyond human. Of course this is an anime and anything goes on this side of the town. Maybe I was just comparing the two after all. You decide.

I am not really into sports so I probably wouldn’t have much on this one. Feel free to drop your comments below and enlighten me.

One Piece – The Cursed Holy Sword Review

As the One Piece arc starts to sizzle to greater heights, I decided to stop by some of the One Piece films that I haven’t got the chance to watch hence this review.

The Cursed Holy Sword. A One Piece movie that mainly tackles about Roronoa Zorro’s past. Who knew that the aspiring best swordsman in the One Piece series have a childhood friend which later on became an enemy!? I’m pretty sure though that succeeding chapters and episodes will soon tackle more about Zorro especially since it’s time for the Wano Arc. The land of the samurai. (Or at least that’s what I think given the fact the Wano was where Kin’emon and Ryuma came from).

Great! It seems that this review is at the very least near the current arc at One Piece so let’s proceed then!

The Cursed Holy Sword is the 5th animated film of One Piece. Here you will see the childhood friend of our former Pirate Hunter, Saga as he became the main antagonist of the story.

Setting such spoilers aside, the movie feels lacking on something though I can’t seem to specify on which part. The story as any other One Piece movie seems relatively short as it only lasts about an hour and a half. However, given what may seem as a negative aspect, this specific movie was colorful enough to tackle about rituals and the legend behind the catastrophe that awaits the Straw Hat Pirate Crew.

 

The spotlight of the movie is of course at Zorro so you won’t be expecting any breath taking events from our captain Luffy while the comedy it displays will still get you from time to time especially during the Luffy and Usopp duo. The film as gathered from the One Piece wikia likely takes place after the Skypiea Arc.

Despite being one of the most violent animated production on One Piece, I believe that it is necessary as we’re talking about the bond of swordsmen. Bloody in a sense given the fact that the legend including the ritual should take effect during a Blood Moon and as the title suggests, it was cursed. When does “Curse” bear a lighter definition anyway?

All in all, it’s a bit far from the intensity of other One Piece movies but it bears a rich story line that will hook you should you be interested in such things as Rituals and Legends.

Artist Recreates Pokemons on a Creepy new level!

Concept Artist and Illustrator for Video Games and Film, David Szilagyi recreates some characters of the still on-going series, Pokemon.

As seen from his Art Station profile, Szilagyi publishes a lot of his work including the topic at hand, the creepy Pokemons! Though from an original lovable and friendly concepts of the Pokemon Series, the great Szilagyi transforms ’em to a terrifying creepy creatures.

As written on his Patreon account, Szilagyi fascinates on a dark-themed concept of art which also includes inspiration from famous horror works of art such as Silent Hill, Scary Stories to tell in the Dark, Slender and much more.

Just when caterpillars thought Caterpie was a justification to their species, comes a Creepy Caterpie!

Then came Kakuna who was just as dashing on the Pokemon series but no, here comes another Creepy Kakuna! A terrifying pod-looking or better yet alien spaceship that brings doom to humanity.

Though I can’t seem to unsee that this one looks just like an Album Release of an Emo themed rock-band, this Creepy Pidgey sure gives you nightmare. Like it was scavenging on your remains.

The Seven Deadly Sins – Prisoners of the Sky Schedule!

The Seven Deadly Sins’ first ever movie just released its airing date!

Surely Nanatsu No Tai Zai (The Seven Deadly Sins) fans are astounded for this great news! Written by its own author Nakaba Suzuki, its fan base are now categorizing this as a canon of the great series whose Season 2 is currently on-going as of this writing.

Based on circulating news, the story will focus on The Seven Deadly Sins travel to the Sky for a supposed gift for the King of Liones Kingdom. From there, they will encounter The Six Knights of Black whose aim is to free a beast that was locked 3,000 years which was maintained by the locals of the sky. However, the story’s timeline remains unknown.

 

Given the circulating information plus the release of the movie’s first “supposed” trailer, we see the Ten Commandments as previewed on Season 2. Not only that, its supposed trailer depicts bits of the opening from Season 2. Check out this image grabbed from the clip.

 

Scheduled released on Japanese theaters is on August 18, 2018 while no announcement was made if this will hit foreign theaters any time soon.

Erased – Anime Review

If you’re looking for a time-travel related anime to watch, then this one’s just right for you! Boku Dake Ga Inai Machi also known by its English title Erased is a detective like themed anime. The plot revolves on Fujinuma the protagonist who has the ability he called “Revival” which allows him to turn back into time to prevent tragedies.

Composed of 12 solid episodes, you will feel the twisted ideology of the antagonist while being held in the determination of the young delivery guy’s righteous beliefs.

Though it’s a mystery themed series, identifying the antagonist will become a breeze after a few hints that will come along the way. Sad to say it’s not the kind that will surprise you during the big revelation. However, even if the series was plain and pretty much straight forward, it was exciting on the last part. Twisted revelation but exciting.

FINAL WORDS

To end this review, I’d say that Erased is worthwhile to watch. You may find it a bit boring at the beginning but comprehending the story definitely gives you hope for a better future.

Another – Anime Review

Looking for a creepy anime!? Another’s just the thing for you! Short, creepy and really felt like part of the Japanese folklore in my opinion.

The story revolves on class 3 of Yomiyama North Junior High. A cursed class that doomed not only its students but also their relatives and everyone that’s gains connection to that certain class for its current school year.

When watching this short series, prepare to witness gruesome scenes when the curse falls down on its victims. No censorship. Only artistry. The animators made sure that you’ll have a hard time swallowing by detailing the series of deaths you’ll be witnessing.

The outline of the story was pretty good. It’ll get you hooked by trying to identify the source of the curse. Though I’d say that this is part of those story that will make you think. Not because the mystery was hard to crack but because the sequence of details was properly aligned. It was very neat that will make you rethink if you miss essential details in solving the case.

As for solving the case behind the curse of class 3, I’m pretty sure that you’ll miss that detail until the last episode. If I’m wrong, then I’ll just say that I was so hooked on the plot that I never even considered the options.

A creepy anime packed with a mystery. Who knew that an anime could portray such a genre that will make you chill?
